OUR HISTORY
Born in 2023 out of our passion for wine, Cros des Calades is a wine-growing project that is particularly close to our hearts, as it is a natural extension of our work at Château de la Selve.
Also located in Grospierres, just a few kilometres from our historic domaine, this unique winery uses organic farming methods to vinify grapes from five domaines in the southern Rhône Valley, whose terroirs stretch from the Drôme to the Gard, passing through the Ardèche.
True to the philosophy that guides our work at Château de la Selve, we produce each cuvée with respect for the terroir, adopting a minimalist approach in the cellar. Our ambition is to reveal the purity and freshness of the wines we create.
With Cros des Calades, we offer a range of enjoyable, accessible and delicious wines that perfectly complement the estate's offering. You will find red, white and rosé wines, as well as an orange wine, a classic sparkling wine and a sparkling rosé.
These are sincere, lively and vibrant wines to be discovered and shared without moderation.

OUR WORK
We don't just select grapes: we nurture them with passion to create wines that tell a story and convey emotion.
Through careful selection of plots, close long-term relationships with winegrowers and meticulous vinification in line with our practices at Château de la Selve, we strive to bring out the best in each vintage while respecting the terroir and the identity of the grape varieties.
Our role is to support each cuvée with precision and sensitivity. Through a minimalist and non-interventionist approach, we allow the wine to express itself with purity, freshness and authenticity, in order to reveal the full richness of the terroirs from which it comes.
The southern Rhône Valley is a treasure trove of diversity where the vines draw their character from vibrant terroirs. Between deep clay-limestone soils and Mediterranean influences, each plot is a mosaic of flavours and balance.
Here, we work with typical grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, Viognier and Cinsault, which flourish in a generous climate, producing wines with juicy, digestible profiles and bursting with freshness.
Cool nights temper the heat of the day, preserving the tension and drinkability of our wines, while indigenous yeasts and our precise ageing processes give them a silky texture and incomparable depth.
